Howl 2010

Howl Howl - Das Geheul (Germany) To ourliahto (Greece) Rob Epstein, Jeffrey Friedman USA English 2010 Drama 82min James Franco, Mary-Louise Parker, Jon Hamm, Jeff Daniels, David Strathairn, Alessandro Nivola, Treat Williams, Bob Balaban, Aaron Tveit, Allen Ginsberg, Sean Patrick Reilly, Jon Prescott, Todd Rotondi, Cecilia Foss, Alex Emanuel Baseado em fatos reais da vida do poeta Allan Ginsberg (James Franco). Revive um momento importante da literatura americana: a criação do ousado poema 'Uivo', de Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997). Considerada pornográfica, a obra levou seu autor, um dos mitos da geração beat, a um histórico julgamento em 1957. It's San Francisco in 1957, and an American masterpiece is put on trial. Howl, the film, recounts this dark moment using three interwoven threads: the tumultuous life events that led a young Allen Ginsberg to find his true voice as an artist, society's reaction (the obscenity trial), and animation that echoes the poem's surreal style. All three coalesce in hybrid that dramatizes the birth of a counterculture. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1049402/ 6.7/10 (1,479 votes) http://howlthemovie.com/
