O filme é uma comédia romântica contemporânea sobre a eterna questão de achar o par igual, ou alma gêmea. Tudo começa quando Jackie, interpretada pela atriz Sasha Alexander, da série de TV Dawson's Creek, conhece Brett, interpretado pelo ator Adam Goldberg, do filme O Resgate do Soldado Ryan. Como eles não tem coragem de dar o primeiro passo para começar um relacionamento, resolvem atacar de cupido para aproximar seus amigos gays, Tom e Eli.

"All Over The Guy" is a contemporary romantic comedy about the quest to find the "one" when "the one" doesn't know he's the "one." It explores the unlikely pairing of two 20-somethings thrown together by their respective best friends in hopes of igniting their own romance. They do everything they can to NOT fall in love, but finally they overcome the dysfunction of their parents and surrender to their hearts.
